General Exhibits

Show off your talents and become an exhibitor at the Wright County Fair!!

We love entries from all ages and abilities - there’s truly something for everyone. Our Open Class gives everyone from preschoolers to senior citizens the chance to share their skills and creativity. Whether you’re an artist, a maker, or a grower, this is your moment to shine!

The fair features departments and divisions for just about everything, including:

  • Farm crops, fruits, vegetables, and garden flowers
  • Delicious canning and baked goodies
  • Beautiful quilts and needlework
  • Stunning photography
  • Livestock of all kinds

**Advanced Registration is required, we will not be doing walk-ins!**


Entry Day

Entry Day is Tuesday, July 21st, from Noon to 7:30 pm.

Exhibitors with livestock entries should check under each Departments for entry dates and times.


Closing time for Entries

  • Flower entries close at 4:30 pm Tuesday, July 21 (NO EXCEPTIONS). Flower judging begins at 5:00 pm Tuesday, July 21.
  • Entries for the rest of the general exhibits will be from 12:00 pm until 7:30 pm Tuesday, July 21. General exhibits judging begins at 8:00 am Wednesday, July 22.
  • Entries for cattle, sheep, hogs, and horses close as soon as capacity of the barns have been filled. Animals must be in place Wednesday, July 22 by 12:00 pm.

Entry Premiums

All general exhibit, flower, vegetable, and grain entry premiums will be:

  • 1st - $6.00
  • 2nd - $4.00
  • 3rd - $3.00

GENERAL EXHIBIT RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. **Advanced Registration is required, we will not be doing walk-ins!** Complete the entry form online or by mail.
  2. Please bring your exhibits to the fairgrounds on Tuesday, July 21st from noon to 7:30pm.
  3. All exhibits must remain until 7:00 pm on the last day of the fair.
  4. All exhibits may be picked up beginning at 7pm on the last day of the fair in the general exhibit building, premium checks will be mailed out after.
  5. An exhibitor may enter only one exhibit per class.
  6. All exhibits must be the work of and owned by the exhibitor.
  7. All exhibits must have been completed during the current year.
  8. If the project exhibited is a set (towels, pillow cases, etc.) please only enter one.
  9. Judges are instructed not to award a premium unless the exhibit is worthy of merit.
  10. Every effort will be made to assure the safety of all entries after arrival and placement, but in no event, will Wright County Fair be responsible for loss or damage to exhibits.
  11. Exhibitors are responsible for entering their articles into the right department, division, and class on entry day.
