2026 Lawn Mower Demo Derby

ALL RULES CAN BE FOUND HERE.

The Lawn Mower Derby will take place after the last Combine Heat before the Combine Feature. Twenty minute time limit down to last mower or most aggressive hitter by judges decision when time expires.
● 1st Place - $300 & Trophy
● 2nd Place - $200 & Trophy
● 3rd Place - $100
● 4th Place - $25
● Best Decorated Mower - $50 & Trophy

$25 registration fee for driver and 1 pitman. BOTH MUST REGISTER TOGETHER TO GET THEIR PIT PASS. Pit armbands will be placed on by a gate attendant upon entry. NO PIT PASSES SOLD. Grandstand tickets are reserved seating $15.00.

All drivers must be 15 years or older (15-17 years of age must have a NOTARIZED signed waiver from parents or guardians to participate).

All drivers and pitmen must sign a waiver upon entering the pit area, holding NO ONE responsible but yourself for anything that happens. PARTICIPATE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Must be on grounds and in pit by 5:00 p.m. to be inspected. Pit opens at 1:00 p.m.

CHAIRMAN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE RULES, AND KEEP EVENT FAIR AND SAFE. OFFICIAL’S DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL ONCE YOUR REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEE HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED. PROOF OF ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL BE NEEDED ON THE DAY OF THE DEMO.

By submitting this form, we agree to give permission for the child (minor) _________________________ to participate in the Wright County Fair Lawn Mower Demo Derby. We understand the child (minor) will be entering a restricted area which is not open to the general public. This includes the Pit Area and Arena where the derby is held.

We understand the child (minor) participating in this event is at risk to injury.

We do hereby release the Wright County Fair, Wright County Ag Society, its officers, volunteers, employees, sponsors, and advertisers from any claims or liability arising out of the minor child’s participation in the Lawn Mower Demo Derby. We voluntarily elect to accept all risks connected with the child’s entry into the restricted area and the participation in the Power Wheels Demo Derby.

I have read the above and understand it is a release of all claims and assume all risk inherent to the (minor) child’s participation in the Lawn Mower Demo Derby at the Wright County Fair.
