2026 Power Wheels Demo Derby

ALL RULES CAN BE FOUND HERE.

1. ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY FRIDAY JULY 10TH. Ages 3 - 10 years old are allowed to participate. No entry fee to participate.
2. All participants must have a signed consent form from parent/guardian to participate.
3. Pit opens at 1:00 p.m.
4. Driver and one parent/guardian allowed in the pit with registration. Other family members and friends must purchase grandstand tickets. Reserved seating $15.00.
5. Be on grounds and in pit by 5:15 p.m. You will be directed to the Power Wheels area. A signed waiver for child is required. Parent/guardian will sign a waiver when entering pit area.
6. There will be a pit meeting at approximately 6:00 that the driver and parent/guardian must attend.
7. Power wheels will run first. Parent/guardian must bring power wheels and driver onto track when called.
8. Fair Officials will assist drivers on the track during the derby.
9. POWER WHEELS MUST BE car, truck, or jeep (sit in) type. No ATV, gator, tractor, motorcycle, 4-wheelers allowed. Keep in mind they will be running into each other like bumper cars or derby cars.
10.Only one Power Wheel battery (6-12 volt) allowed. No lawn mower, drill, or automotive batteries allowed. The battery must be secured and covered in the vehicle.
11. Stock Power Wheel tires allowed, no added traction. Tires may be duct taped to prevent cracking.
12.No raising or lowering of front or rear of Power Wheels allowed. (stock height)
13.No special bumpers or reinforcement for strengthening. Fake headers are allowed.
14.The hood, trunk, doors, and tailgate should be secured down. No additional reinforcement allowed. Use zip ties or duct tape.
15.A helmet is REQUIRED (bike helmet okay) for driver. Shoes must be worn. No sandals.
16.Seat belt is recommended but not required. You will be hitting each other in forward and reverse.
17.It is a TIMED event, and all drivers will receive a trophy on the track after the event.

YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL ONCE YOUR REGISTRATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED. PROOF OF ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL BE NEEDED ON THE DAY OF THE DEMO.

By submitting this form, we agree to give permission for the child (minor) _________________________ to participate in the Wright County Fair Power Wheels Demo Derby. We understand the child (minor) will be entering a restricted area which is not open to the general public. This includes the Pit Area and Arena where the derby is held.

We understand the child (minor) participating in this event is at risk to injury.

We do hereby release the Wright County Fair, Wright County Ag Society, its officers, volunteers, employees, sponsors, and advertisers from any claims or liability arising out of the minor child’s participation in the Power Wheels Demo Derby. We voluntarily elect to accept all risks connected with the child’s entry into the restricted area and the participation in the Power Wheels Demo Derby.

I have read the above and understand it is a release of all claims and assume all risk inherent to the (minor) child’s participation in the Power Wheels Demo Derby at the Wright County Fair.
