New Day & Time – NOVICE RANCH SORTING COMPETITION
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND – Outwest, Inc. is offering a Novice Ranch Sorting Competition on Wednesday night (August 1, 2012) at 7:00 pm. This is a special event for the novice and beginners wanting to give it a try. 4-Hers, FFA, Saddle Clubs and others are welcome to sign up. The competition will last for several hours giving each team multiple tries. Don’t have a partner? Sign up and we will find one for you!

Cost per person: 18 years old and under - $10
Over 18 years old - $20

The top 5 teams will be sponsored by Outwest, Inc. for Saturday Night Jackpot Competition at the Wright County Fair. Come have affordable safe clean fun Wednesday night!

Jackpot Competition
Ranch Sorting is one of the fastest growing equine sports. In this timed event, 2-person teams cut cattle in numbered order from the herd and drive them to the adjoining pen. This entertaining, free family-friendly event is held at the horse arena next to the horse barn, and plenty of spectator seating is available. Jackpot competitors registration beginning at 4:00pm. Mutton Bustin’ Competition
At the Wright County Fair, hosted by OutWest, Inc. Competition begins at
1:00pm. Mutton Bustin’ is a sheep riding competition for kids ages 6 – 8. If your child is interested in participating, registration begins at 12:00 pm at Announcers Stand by the horse arena.
